Starting with some warm-up drawing exercises, you will develop your observational skills to simplify the essence of a subject.

You will then learn the essentials of watercolour painting, particularly how to choose your colours and apply them to make the most of the luminous and transparent qualities of the medium. Along the way, we will learn some incredible stories about the birds' lives.

You will leave the workshop with two of your own bird artworks to frame up.

Professional-grade art equipment will be provided, and the workshop will be suitable for all abilities.
